Author Tea Hosted Author Louise Bohmer on Wednesday October 17th 2007

Louise Bohmer is a small press editor for such publishers as Lachesis Publishing, LBF Books and Whiskey Creek Press as well as their Torrid Imprint – WCPT. Ms. Bohmer writes dark fiction that runs the gamut from fantasy, horror to some sci-horror dashes. She pens erotic works from the contemporary to the more fantastical. In her author tea chat, Louise will discuss the writer’s internal editor, her upcoming 2008 novel “The Black Act” and making fantastical characters believable and “human” to the reader. To learn more about Ms. Bohmer, visit her virtual forest at: www.louisebohmer.com  Louise will be giving away free handouts of the E-books “FEAR – An Anthology of Horror and Suspense” and “Embark to Madness”)

“The Black Act”, set for release sometime in Summer 2008, takes place in a fictional world within an area known as the Dalthwein Region. When chased from the Fjorhad District by the ferocious Fjorhad giants, the then nameless human nomads whom wander into the Dalthwein are given refuge by the People of the Woods. The nomads agree to follow the benevolent rule of the Fae and learn higher teachings under their guidance. But one family tribe among the nomads – who become the Dalthwein Clans – spurns the gifts of these highly advanced Wood People, and the long standing bitter feud between the McCleod family tribe and the Fae begins…

Author Tea Hosted Author Karina Fabian on  August 29th (EST)

Karina Fabian has written everything from radio news stories to personality features to science fiction.  She’s been in over 50 periodicals and has four books published.  Her latest, Infinite Space, Infinite God (August 2007, Twilight Times Books) has driven her into the world of marketing.  As she learns the tricks of publicizing her book, she’s also tried to share her knowledge with others by teaching courses, offering “primers” on her website, answering questions and offering unsolicited advice.  (Did we mention she also wrote how-to pieces?  She’s good at unsolicited advice.)  In addition, she’s shopping a fantasy trilogy, publishing a newsletter, writing a Catholic science fiction novel and crafting a fantasy noir satire involving a dragon detective, the creatures of Faerie and a Mensa convention.

She has several blogs, websites and a live chat:

www.fabianspace.com, where you'll find info about her, her writing and her eclectic writing/homeschooling/humor/just-gotta-say-it blog

http://isigsf.tripod.com, the official site of Infinite Space, Infinite God

www.virtualbooktourdenet.blogspot.com, where she'll gladly advertise your book if you'll return the favor to someone else

www.freewebs.com/dragoneyepi, where you can learn more about the fantasy noir dragon detective Vern, his partner Sister Grace, and the world of Dragon Eye, PI.

FabChat, a live-chat with a guest author.  (www.fabianspace.com, click on FabChat)

She's President of the Catholic Writers' Guild, owner of Catholic Writers Online, and active in a half-dozen or more groups.  She homeschools her four children, and has the most understanding husband in the world.

Blurbs:  Come explore the worlds of Infinite Space, Infinite God. Meet genetically engineered chimeras and aliens who wonder what a human religion holds for them. Share the doubts, trials and triumphs of humans who find their journeys in time and space are also journeys in faith.

Experience spine-tingling adventure. Marvel at technological miracles—and miracles that transcend technology—and meet the writers who made a leap of faith and dared to incorporate familiar religion with fantastic universes.

Infinite Space, Infinite God:  Thought-Provoking Sci-Fi with a Catholic twist!
