Lincoln Crisler is a horror, fantasy and science-fiction writer whose work has appeared in a variety of print and online venues. He is also a US Army soldier; during a recent tour in Afghanistan, he produced the dark fiction anthology Our Shadows Speak. He currently resides in El Paso, Texas with his family. “The Black Act”, set for release sometime in Summer 2008, takes place in a fictional world within an area known as the Dalthwein Region. The nomads agree to follow the benevolent rule of the Fae and learn higher teachings under their guidance. But one family tribe among the nomads – who become the Dalthwein Clans – spurns the gifts of these highly advanced Wood People, and the long standing bitter feud between the McCleod family tribe and the Fae begins…
